ASA Northern National Qualifier for 10U thru 18U on June 13th-15th, 2014. Tournament will be held at Green Valley Sports Complex, 5920 52nd Avenue, Moline, Illinois and Jacob’s Park 3015 4th Avenue East Moline, Illinois. Green Valley is one of the finest facilities in the Midwest with eight lighted 200’ diamonds in one complex. Green Valley Sports Complex has hosted multiple ASA/USA National Tournaments and will host the 2014 16U ASA Northern National Tournament. Jacob’s Park has recently added many upgrades including lighted diamonds on eight fields. Our tournament will be a 5-game guarantee (weather permitting), double elimination. Three pool play games on Friday and Saturday (We will try to schedule only local teams on Friday, no guarantees) leading into double elimination bracket play on Saturday afternoon through Sunday. Pool play is open substitution and can bat entire lineup, during bracket play straight ASA rules will apply. Entry fee is $400, a $50 administration fee will be kept from the entry fee in the event of a complete rain out. Medals and team trophy will be given to 1st and 2nd place teams in each age division. Teams must provide at check in: 2 new Wilson Dream Seam leather .47 cor softballs (11’ for 10U and 12’ for 12U/14U/16U/18U), proof of insurance and ASA roster.
