Men's Class D & E slowpitch double elimination softball tournament 09-27-08 at the Giddings Fireman's Park (U.S. Hwy 290) in Giddings, TX. Entry fee is $100 per team plus umpire fees. There will be a silent auction and 50/50 raffle. Prizes will be awarded. This yearly tournament benefits the Leon "Doodle" Wallace Memorial Cancer Scholarship Fund. Every year, a scholarship is awarded to a current or prospective college student who has cancer or is related to someone with or that has died from cancer. Entry deadline is 2 weeks prior to the event. In the event of a large amount of teams, this will be a two day tournament.
